Health Declarations

National Animal Health Declarations, also known as  National Health Statements, applies to cattle, sheep and goats. Pigs require vaccination certification and a recommended on-farm bio-security plan to assure buyers stock is disease free. A Health Declaration is important to buyers if they intend to show, race, breed or resell livestock.

Movement Records
Australian Federal Law requires Movement Records onboard during the transport of livestock. Depending on your location and type of livestock both Federal and State Movement Records must be accurate, completed and signed, pre transportation, to meet industry standards and Australian Federal Law.

A National Vendor Declaration (NVD) is required to transport all livestock in every state. Further information on completing NVD's can be found at Integrity Systems Company (ISC).

Accreditations

Accreditations reflect livestock, meat, wool and breeding standards.

Gather your Accreditations so they are easily available upon request. Be sure to save your Accreditations digitally where possible. The best format to save or export your Accreditations is via a PDF (post document format) as this format is readable on almost all systems and computers. Paper copies can be scanned to your computer or laptop (and saved as a PDF) or paper copies can be photographed, emailed and uploaded. Once saved as a readable document (PDF) you are ready to upload them to your LTO dashboard, ready to send to interested buyers via our messaging system.

Making your livestock Accreditations available, and promoting them in your ad may improve market opportunities and livestock value.

Certifications
Certifications reflect health and lifestyle production conditions including pasturefed, organic farming, approved farming, open fields, HGP free and antibiotic free.

Gather your Certifications so they are easily available upon request. Be sure to save your Certifications digitally where possible. The best format to save or export your Certifications is via a PDF (post document format) as this format is readable on almost all systems and computers. Paper copies can be scanned to your computer or laptop and saved as a PDF or paper copies can be photographed, emailed and uploaded.

Making your livestock Certifications available, and promoting them in your ad may improve market opportunities and livestock value.

Certifications may be provided by organisations including RSPCA, ACO, PCAS, PROOF or APIQ.
Registrations
Registrations may reflect diary, wool, stud, breeding or fleece Associations.

Gather your Registrations so they are easily available upon request. Be sure to save your Registrations digitally where possible. The best format to save or export your Registrations is via a PDF (portable document format) as this format is readable on almost all systems and computers. Paper copies can be scanned to your computer or laptop and saved as a PDF or paper copies can be photographed, emailed and uploaded.
